Dr. Ali Kasraeian graduated from the University of Florida College of Medicine at Gainesville in 2002. Dr. Kasraeian, named among “America’s Top Surgeons” by the Consumers’ Research Council of America,completed his fellowship in advanced laparoscopic, robotic and minimally invasive urologic surgery at Montsouris Institute in Paris, France. Together with his father, Dr. Ahmad Kasraeian, he was named among America’s top 7 percent of physicians, and recently honored as one of U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Doctors.” Te father and son physicians provide comprehensive urologic care specializing in minimally invasive surgery.
Dr. Ali Kasraeian is one of a few surgeons in Northeast Florida able to perform open, laparoscopic and robotic prostate, bladder, kidney and reconstructive surgery. In addition, he is trained as a HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound) surgeon, another minimally invasive therapy for localized prostate cancer. Dr. Kasraeian and his team have been working to bring multiparametric MRI and MRI-Ultrasound Fusion Prostate Biopsy to Jacksonville. When not in surgery or seeing patients, Dr. Kasraeian hosts Thee Conversation: A Radio Show on WOKV every Saturday from 5 to 6 PM, where he discusses the latest health and wellness trends, up to date advances in medicine and breaking news in the politics of healthcare.
Ali’s father, Dr. Ahmad Kasraeian, has more than 30 years of experience internationally, including 27 years serving the Jacksonville community.
